Amalfi Coast (Italy 2004) - Taken during my year abroad in Europe. In the distance you can see the famous island of Cápri.

Palenque Ruins (Mexico 2006) - An ancient and spiritual place. The best ruins I've come across in my travels so far.

Glasgow University (Scotland 2004) - I spent a semester studing at this magnificent Victorian 'Hogwarts like' campas.

Lake Wakatipu (New Zealand 2003) - Just outside of Queenstown, this lake is one giant 200km mirror... Out of this world!

Chefchaouen (Morocco 2004) - A magical little mountain town renowned for is washed blue colours. Mint tea is second to none!

Intro to Jonathon Kresner (Me)

If I had to list one goal I think will remain constant throughout my life, it is to learn about, build and apply technologies that help people improve their quality of life.

Nothing excites me more than the fulfilling the process of:

As a talented and passionate young entrepreneur, my goal is to continualy seek innovative projects and work with likeminded people.

Technology is meant to be a tool to help us engage the non-technological world faster, easier and safer. However, without balance technology can detract from other aspects of life such as socialising, health and artistic expression. It is with this in mind that I chose to study a combined Computer Science / Arts (History) degree and I strive to continually adopt hobbies & interests that will challenge, help me evolve and remain focused on my end goal of applying technology to make the world better.

Technologies I Revere

Below is a short list of technologies that I find truly exceptional and inspirational.

Microsoft .Net and ASP .Net are to me what a paint brush is to a traditional artist. This powerful programming framework allows millions of users from novice to expert transform their ideas and dreams into amazing technologies.
No one serves the world with information like Google Search. These guys have continued to innovate and lead the search space for almost 10 years. They bring me answers to many of my questions multiple times a day.
The database is the key to instant storage and retrieval of information. Sql Server is Microsoft's relational database. It is evolving at an incredible rate and is establishing itself as the market leader from small business to large enterprise.
I cannot help but sit in awe when I look at the volume of data and the sophisticated way Facebook queries and presents information to its users. They have truly understood how to apply technology to bring happiness and enjoyment to millions.
